Looking for a collection of 19th century photographs of children and people who died before their time?
Once I came across this collection in a book. There are pictures of people, mostly children, all dressed up, usually seated on a chair or a bed, eyes open, but they are all dead. When photography was invented, they believed they could catch or document the soul of the deceased taking their picture. What this collection is called?
