The amazing thing about ancient Egypt
Although we can define the time of ancient Egypt as the period of history of Egypt since the invention of hieroglyphic writing at the end of the old concept that refers specifically to civilization who lived on the banks of the Nile during this period of almost four thousand years of history. The Egyptian collection of tribes who have created the first empire Pharaonic until its collapse in early Christian era, ancient Egypt has witnessed major events that have profoundly influenced culture of a large proportion of the peoples of Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
It's the end of the Neolithic tribes who begin to gather in the fertile Nile valley, leading to the formation of the two kingdoms politically distinct but closely linked by a common culture: Upper Egypt the south and Lower Egypt in the north (the Nile flows from south to north, from which these names). The Tradition assigns to the southern kingdom of unification of the country (which becomes the first state in the world) and the creation of the first Pharaonic (the pharaoh Narmer, many experts believe).

The end of ancient Egyptian history varies depending on the point of view. He concludes:

Pharaonic Egypt in its 3000 years of history is not an issue geographical boundaries. Yet one can not deny that some characters are inseparable from the geographical identity of Egypt and the Nile has shaped the way of life and civilization of Egypt.
